Top 3 Services You Need for Your Photography Business

I wanted to share with you a few of the services that I have found over the past few years for my photography business that have bee absolute LIFE SAVERS! Even if you are not a photographer, these are programs you can use so make sure you check them out. If you are not already using them, stop what you are doing now and check them out!

Track your mileage with MileIQ.

This one is a life saver, before the MileIQ app came into my life I had a horrible time keeping track of my mileage and it was always such a chore. With MileIQ, tracking mileage is no longer a chore, it is just a matter of simply taking a few minutes each week to classify each drive I take. MileIQ automatically tracks each drive you make as long as your phone is turned on, it records the location of the start and end point of each drive so it is super easy to go through and mark each drive as personal or business. You just swipe left or right on each drive you make to classify it. There is also an option to add sub categories to your drives, so you can differentiate between drives for session, ordering consultations, meetings, or even just drives to the bank.

Automate and streamline your workflow with Tave

Tave recently came into my life after searching for a way to help automate my business and keep things consistent, the thing that attracted me to Tave was the streamline look and the ease in locating things. Workflow programs can be somewhat clunky to set up, but I love how Tave allows you to drag and rearrange items in your workflow so that you can easily work through and arrange it perfectly. Another HUGE advantage of TAVE is the amazing questionnaires. I have been using them to gather information from potential clients that are applying for my 365 Days of Horses project, and you can embed the forms into your website (Bonus Points), as well as gathering information for my wedding and newborn clients. You an set up the questionnaires to link to clients information and automatically populate fields such as address, emails, phone numbers, or any other fields you would like to utilize. The program also handles contract and invoices and can be integrated with your payment processor such as Stripe or PayPal. You can also integrate your contact form on your website to be filed directly into Tave as an inquiry. You can check out my inquiry for here, you can customize the fields to meet your needs. The final thing about Tave that I love is its ability to handle automations, I am still working on figuring out all of the things it can do, but over the next year I want to be fully integrated and using the entire automation system.

You can get a 30 day trial when you sign up on Tave’s website, but if you use my link you will receive a 60 day trial.

Schedule social media with Hootsuite

Hootsuite is a life saver, I sit down at the first of each month and schedule my social media posts for the entire month. This allows me to not have to worry about my social media posts every month. I still have to push through Instagram posts, however that is one of the unavoidable parts of using Instagram. I haven’t found a great solution to this yet. You can schedule specific times and dates for each day, or you can use the auto schedule option and it will optimize the post times for your social media accounts.

I would love to hear more about your favorite tools for your business. Leave your best tips and tricks in the comments for everyone to check out!
